Jon has been playing & teaching music professionally since he was only 13 years old. After studying at Trinity College of Music from the age of 13 to 17 he decided that one day he would open up a music school of his own. February 8th 2018 was the date the long dream became real.

Jon has performed hundreds of professional gigs ranging from public function gigs to high class weddings and corporate events. His multi-instrumentalist persona means he can put his hands to Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drum Kit & Backing Vocals to a very high skill level. Having had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of pupils between 2004 to 2017, he has always had a passion of sharing his knowledge of music with all who wish to learn.

As well as running TBSL and teaching music various locations in the UK, he is also a devout session musician for various live artists in Belfast City Centre, as well as being busy with remote work across the UK.

He holds a Bmus (hons) degree in music performance from The University of West London and is currently working towards a performance Licentiate in Piano, as well as writing his new debut jazz trio album and the first two tuition booklets.
